My favorite stories are the ones that people tell face to face. The best time to do this is when you are with people 24/7, but not in a creepy way. Over the summer I went backpacking on the Appalachian Trail and spent a week with random strangers that I had never met in my life. At first we were all super awkward and had no clue what to say, but as the day went on we decided that we might as well attempt at conversations. We all started telling stories about where we are from and our backgrounds. We already knew each other at this point but then after we conversed, we understood each other. We became super close and the level of trust between us was unbelievable. So no, my favorite stories are not read or watched, but they are spoken about. Each person adds their own personality in their story and you can learn about a person by the way they speak. I really connected with these people on levels I had never experienced. I enjoy understanding peopled the only way to do that is by really listening to what they say.
